➸ LIQUID A – is the ruling drum and bass lady of Metro Manila. Backed by her creative collective, Nomad Technology, Liquid A’s passion for soulful music has earned her residencies in bars and clubs around the capital city and also paired her up along side some of the most sought after DJ’s and live bands in the Philippines. We know this folk have a great talent for music. Check this lady out!

➸ YAO – is a gifted producer, Dj and budding founder of San Fran-based Solos Records, with original roots in Hip Hop. YAO’s music is filled with so much soul and finesse it’ll make your legs go wonky. He skillfully triggers that feel-good mood with his amalgamation of styles ranging from dub/dubstep, funky to soul, experimental and worldly future beat. Way to go!

Electronic Mistress and the DJs behind ‘SONIC STEP SISTERS’ already are familiar faces in HK’s nightlife, with years of involvement in local scenes.

Those who’ve been keeping an ear close to the ground in Hong Kong will have encountered these ladies many times. Either hosting one of their own club nights, rocking out behind the turntables or chilling out at friends’ gigs, bullying people to make them dance.

Now they fuse their magic powers as allies for the ‘SONIC STEP SISTERS’ project, a casual evening of social music listening and cosmic groove!They count on your uncompromised, passionate support.

➸ VES – Our passionate ’strictly vinyl’ Reggae selecta, who also serves dub, funk and loves some good drum and bass as well as dark chocolate. ➸ Ves has been playing dubwise sounds for a few years, she collects vinyls from record shops around the world and has played at places/parties like W52, Heavy, Good Vibes, Kongkrete BBQ & many more. Ves is currently involved in bringing some exciting artists to town, most recently co-hosting some greats like Clive Chin, Jahtari & Som T. ✿

➸ ASAYO – Our exotic true skool Junglist(a) who skillfully dishes up drum and bass from the past to present. She also loves Reggae, a lick of dubstep and champagne. ➸ Asayo has been following Jungle/ Drum and Bass since 1997 via Djing and promoting with the XLTNZ crew in Nagoya. She has since become a sought-after female dnb DJ in Japan and has enjoyed performing at large events (XLNTZ, Dubstep Warz, Hospitality Japan, etc) alongside top DJs, like: Skream, Goldie, Marky, Photek, Bryan Gee, Aquasky, Calibre, The Bug, Goth-Trad, Dj Die, Zinc, Makoto – the list goes on. ✿

➸ ELEMIZ – is the ‘Mistress’ of all sounds ‘Electronic’, who likes her bass music in many shades and speeds, especially oven-fresh genres with strange names. She also pulls the strings in this project. ➸ As the co-founder of Kongkretebass, Elemiz (aka Electronic Mistress) is familiar with all facets of being an all-in-one DJ/ Music- & Event Producer/ Promoter. She’s been a driving force in pushing the scene of Drum and Bass music, since its revival in HK in 2005. She finds great satisfaction in hosting and co-hosting club nights with local & international guests, dreaming up new concepts, exploring the vast sonic landscapes of current and future beats, and pushing her sound as a DJ to the audiences of Kongkretebass, Heavy, Subculture (Shanghai), Dubway (Bangkok) and other events. ✿
